Happy Halloween everyone! I hope you all have fun in your favorite costumes! Can't wait to see all the little princesses and Batmen this year at our doorstep...(photo from here)
Sorry for the lack of post yesterday folks - I've had the flu for the last week and am finally crawling out into the world. Was poking around blogland and found these wonderful assemblage lighting designs by British designer James Plumb (James Russell and Hannah Plumb). So clever and you know I always love a great re-use design! Have a great weekend everyone!
Have you seen this place in NY - Macbar? It is all dedicated to mac & cheese. Menu items include all varieties of mac & cheese - the classic, the reuben, and mayan chipotle. And the decor is made to suit! Better get your Lactaid out!
As the winter rapidly approaches we start thinking of the holidays. I love these festive patterns from designer Caroline Gardner - wrapping papers, cards, and even advent calendars. Bold, bright and modern.
If you are in the San Francisco Bay Area you have to go this weekend to this fabulous event! For only the fourth time ever in its history, the San Francisco Opera opens its amazing costume warehouse to the public. The sale offers costumes, masks, hand-painted kimonos, and on-of-a kind pieces. Prices are $1-750. Incredible!
Love the idea of these sweet lip balms and oils with natural fragrances by For Strange Women. Also choose from other unusual scents such as "Sweet Androgeny", "Rosewood", "Pinecone", and "Jaded". Gorgeous vintage-inspired packaging.
Well - I have quite an accomplishment to report today...I found my desk. Not like it wasn't there all along, just buried under a sea of paperwork. So in this vast sea was a little sticky note to look up this place. Not sure where I found it but I know you will enjoy. Uxua has these fabulous modern villas set amidst gorgeous natural settings right on Brazil's Bahian coastline. Just stunning...
Love these pieces from design group Happy sthlm (Stockholm). It is a collaborative brand with 3 designers - one a silversmith, one in textile design, and 1 a product designer. This vase was inspired by the creator's fond memories of milk bottle delivery to her home in Finland when she was a child - love the smooth lines.
