Back from the Brimfield Antique show and trying to get the shop together as construction is coming to a close. We had a great time - sleep - who needs it? My sis did a fab job helping me find all sorts of goodies for the shop - what a trooper! Here is the dreamiest find, in my opinion. Now I have to say, I normally am not a greedy person but when I saw this lil' gal, my mind started racing. It is a medical cabinet from the 1920's nicely stripped and refinished to let the steel show. I love the combination of industrial with femme (as seen in the curve of the legs). Very ink & peaty...
It was sold to me by the lovely owner of Nesting on Main. She did a gorgeous job displaying it with all shades of black and white on the inside - porcelain bowls, dotted feathers, and birch bark....sold!
I can't wait to see this piece in my space full of soaps, lotions, silver bowls, pottery, maybe an apothecary jar of tall branches on top - so many ideas...

i am all about the bowl of feathers - what an elegant natural display, the whole case and it's beautiful contents reminds me of a victorian cabinet of curiosities.
