woodland wonder

OK, so many times I have proclaimed my love for all things woodland, right? Mushrooms, trees, woodland creatures...I can never get enough. So you can imagine my pleasure when I received and email about this fab project done by Jennifer Talbot of B.delicious in collaboration with interior designer Colleen Grusecki. They did a custom environment in this little girls bedroom. This precious room is a little girl's dream! There is a mural of a tree full of leaves with appliqued floral prints as well as birds, and chipmunks! Along the wall are felt applique flowers, with a low ottoman with felt grass and even a mushroom. A larger tufted ottoman is just perfect with a bucket of felt apples. I also love the branch of owl and bird friends on the wall and the little hanging birdhouse above the bed. But my absolute fav is the woodgrain fabric door at the base of the tree - what a special detail for little hands to discover!

really, so sweet and well-done!

Lovely!

I guess it doesn't say much for my maturity level that this approximates my dream room.

How wonderful to see Jennifer featured here! I love how it is both sweet and elegant at the same time. I think this little girl will be able to grow with the room (cause I'd like that tree with the secret door for myself, too!)

*sigh* this is exactly what i would want for the nursery/bedroom for our little daughter that is yet to be born. *sigh* oh renting.

This room is such a dream!

So neat! I love it! I have been a lover of all woodland things for a long time. It is neat to see it so available now, but kind of hard to, as well. :-)

I wish the color of the tree was a little bit more vibrant and lighter in shade. Other than that, it's a cute room lots of little girls would love to be in.

This is about the cutest room I have ever seen. I want the bedspread for myself!

seriously, it hurts to look at these pictures. too amazingly adorable for words. it hurts.....
:)

Does anyone know where the bed came from?

ohhh how my heart is beating, i am in love. so in love...

This is so gorgeous! What a lucky little girl!

The bed is from Chicago based department store Marshal Fields, that has closed and was taken over by Macey's.

So classic and beautiful. Just lovely...
