vibrant color
Here is another set of floral designs I did for one of the homes on the Street of Eames home tour here in Portland. This is the Ingalls house designed by Chris Ingalls. It is a wonderful modern home and the dining room overlooks a terrace with a view as it is up on a hill. I wanted to play off of the orange-red of the oblong lamp above and the carpet below. The white ceramic cubes contrast nicely to the dark bamboo table runner.
This is a combination of dragon-eye leucadendron, berzellia, Spicy roses, orange parrot tulips, orange ranuncula, and exotic Xanadu leaves.

Beautiful arrangements as always! I love the vibrant (shocking orange!) hues against the dark wood. I also love that you did full and lush in a modern setting...I get tired of modern meaning just a pot of phaleonopsis orchids or a few huge leaves in a skinny necked vase or a stem of anthurium...you know what I mean! Wonderful work.

Beautiful! The flowers' warm tones really bring out the dark wood of the table. A great house too!

Wasn't this house in Sunset magazine. I am a frequent reader and love, love, love your work. Any ideas where that orange light fixture is from?

Your arrangement works great for the space. Nice color palette and wise choice of flowers. The house is amazing. What a view inside and outside. I particularly like the living room picture with the dining room in the background.
