The last little corner of our home for this week...
This is a painting in our guest room. It is by Hartford Connecticut painter Ralph Eno. I bought it at an antique fair on the east coast. The lovely thing is that the man who sold it to me noticed Ralph Eno's obituary in the paper when he died in 1965 and attached the article to the back of the painting for himself or whomever might come upon it in the future. I love how the wood was actually carved before it was painted. I love the serene colors and feeling its oblong shape.
